Despite the sudden passing of Michael Jackson mere hours before and just a few miles away, Bruno's Hollywood red carpet premiere went on as scheduled last week.
And while the studio opted to edit a sensitive scene from the film, Bruno himself held nothing back. He made his grand entrance at Grauman's Chinese Theater straddling a mirrored and bejeweled army tank.
The fashionista himself wore a soldier's hat, sleeveless waistcoat festooned with medals, black hot pants, and knee-high combat boots for the event. On the ground, a platoon of female models in skimpy camouflage served as Bruno's backup as he hoisted a gold rocket launcher emblazoned with the "Chanel" logo.
Bruno opens in theatres on July 10.
